The Project
Intent*, a purpose-driven, community-centric brand strategy agency operating in the outdoor and wellness sphere, were in search of a brand refresh for their social media and website communications. The agency connects organisations to real people and communities through authentic experiences and storytelling - cultivating shared values, passions, and long-lasting relationships rather than transactional marketing.

The Concept
Gathered Landscapes
Framed the brand as a steward of communities, stories, and environments, carefully bringing elements together with purpose and care. Drawing inspiration from nature that felt carefully assembled, reflecting the focus on real people, real experiences, and long-term community impact.

The Details
The challenge was to extract a harmogenous and consistent visual identity from a hero collage commisioned for the new brand refresh release – finding balance between the tension of these maximal and minimal approaches. The design leant itself to a tactile and organic off-screen method, symbolising the brand’s connection to real life stories and experiences. The strategy unfolded to abstract textures from nature that represented the thematic pillars upholding the different facets of the brand. From there, the textures where extracted from the hero collage, making for a more considered, intentional and more minimalistic visual identity.
