Bringing to life a visual identity for the rebrand of Beatport, the electronic music discovery and download platform. Moving away from its corporate and rigid identity to one more representative of the ethos of music culture.

The Details
Inspired by 90s Acid Design and the origins of contempory electronic music culture, this rebrand concept project aimed to instill a personality true to the values and ethos of underground music culture into the visual identity. Utilising flowing, interlocking and morphing letterforms for the wordmark and logo, and cymatic frequency patterns as a basis for the graphic palette, the design sought to embrace the power of music for merging cultures and building community.
